Title of Position: Insulator
Terms of Employment: Full-time Permanent
Wages: $30.50/hour full time 40 hours per week
Location of work: Various locations in Lower Mainland, B.C.

Main duties
Must be able to assess what type(s) of insulation will be used based on the specific needs of the area to be insulated and fit insulation around joists and studs as required.
Must have the ability to read blueprints & drawings
Measure and cut insulation materials to the required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools.
Attend safety meetings.
Ability to install waterproofing materials and vapor barriers
Apply and secure insulation using spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping, and other application and installation methods.
Must be able to use an insulation blower and spray foam equipment

Job Requirements: Education and Experience

• Completion of secondary school.
• Experience: 3 - 4 years of related experience is required. Candidates without any experience who have completed related apprenticeship can be considered as well.
• Ability to communicate in English is required

Working Conditions
• Ability to work in very hot or cold weather conditions
• Ability to work in confined spaces for extended periods
