To be successful as a System Engineer should be a highly motivated, results-driven individual who can create the perfect solution for our organizations higher-level needs. The best candidate will also be an excellent listener and communicator, with the ability to explain why their solutions are the best fit for us.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Plan and implement new systems.
Suggest new ideas and solutions to problems.
Maintain and constantly improve existing systems.
Determine bottlenecks in the current systems and suggest solutions to problems.
Determine issues with business Internet connectivity, WAN technologies, remote access and VPN configuration.
Participate in security management.
Use diagnostic tools to determine deficiencies
Suggest and oversee improvement processes
Stay up to date with latest technology and best practices
Attend webinars and conferences

Qualifications:

Must be a graduate of Information Technology, Computer Engineer, Computer Science or equivalent.
Strong customer service orientation.
Two or more years of industry experience in systems engineering or related experience.
Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software systems, applications, and related products.
Proven experience with system planning, security principles, and general software management best practices.
Attention to detail, plus analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required.
Positive, service-oriented personality
