Job Description:
Lead a growing engineering organization consisting of multiple teams.
Define and drive team charter, vision, and strategy.
Grow the engineering organization by hiring top talent and developing existing talent.
Foster an inclusive and collaborative team culture
Lead the development and delivery of networking technologies across all of Microsoft businesses, including Azure, Windows, and Office.
Grow a DevOps culture with a focus on making customers successful and improving developer productivity.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience Leading a team of engineers.
5+ years of software development experience with modern object-oriented programming languages, such as Python, and Javascript(Node, React).
BS in Computer Science or 5+ years of experience in systems programming.
Preferred Qualifications:
Must have coding, debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills
Strong understanding of systems software
Solid architectural skills backed up by implementation experience
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
A track record of solid results across multiple ship cycles
Experience with networking protocols and architecture
Thorough understanding of modern computer architectures found in desktop PCs and servers, including networking.
