Family Medicine
There are currently three physicians, one physician assistant, and five family nurse practitioners, currently on staff.
The providers work 4 days a week with flexible schedules.
Office hours: Monday Thursday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm (late shifts rotated) Friday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
Providers see an average of 21 30 patients per day.
On-site Laboratory and X-Ray services in the practice.
Clinical Resources available are UpToDate and "UpToDate Anywhere".
On Call: The current call schedule is pro-rata share
Providers do not perform rounds at the hospital. We have Call4Health nurse triage service that takes all calls after hours and will contact the provider only if necessary.
There are two additional departments in the current building at the Mount Airy location:
o Wellness and Fitness Center (30,000+ sq. ft. fitness center with state of the art equipment, indoor/outdoor pools, indoor walking trail, seniors and childrens programs, yoga, sports teams (hospital employees): pickle ball, basketball, etc. (This center is available to all employees and their immediate family members at a discounted rate.)
o Weight Loss program (within Family Medicine in Mt. Airy)

A groundbreaking ceremony for a new Family Medicine Office Building on the hospital campus was held in October 2021, with construction completion and Grand Opening expected by June 2023. The new location will accommodate up to 12 providers with room to grow!
