Winthrop, Maine: We invite a caring Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join a thriving outpatient primary care practice in this beautiful lakeside town one hour from Portland. This practice is managed by a 192-bed regional medical center located 10 miles away in Augusta, Maine's dynamic capital city. This physician-led medical center is the Kennebec Valley's largest private employer and Maines third largest healthcare system, committed to positively impact the health of the community through services and involvement.
Newly certified Psych NPs are encouraged to apply for this newly created position.

The addition of a mental health provider to collaborate with a team of physicians and primary care APPs has proven successful in this hospitals outpatient groups, and you will be the first such person added to this group. Mental healthcare here already includes on-site care management and counseling services. You will join as a clinical leader, providing direct patient care and aiding others in decision making, developing and implementing treatment plans, and improving the overall quality of care. You will make psychiatric evaluations and provide counseling and medication management for patients mostly adults, along with some families. You will have an excellent referral network and plenty of support.

Enjoy a convenient weekday schedule (32 hours/week with patients, 8 hours admin time) practicing in a modern, comfortable setting that offers a full range of primary care services.
