Fantastic opportunity for a highly numerate and analytical individual to join a small but high performing team within our Financial and Professional Liability (FINPRO) Practice as a:


Graduate/Trainee Data Analyst

We will rely on you to:

Participate in building and maintaining leading analytics platforms
Collaborate with Marshs other internal analytic teams (business intelligence, actuarial, research, Analytics Mumbai teams), always with the objecting of delivering to our brokers better tools, data and systems.
Collaborate with Marsh other Specialty Data teams and global data teams regarding the integration of data strategies, potential synergies and knowledge sharing.
Proactively develop new ideas and tools and seek new sources of data, articulately communicate the need/value to the FINPRO Specialty.
Collaborate with London and offshore colleagues, providing clear, prioritised direction and on-going support, in order to ensure timely, high-quality product/service with a tangible impact on projects.


What you need to have:

Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent within a relevant subject area such as Computer Science, Economics, Engineering or Mathematics, or any other field which has demanded strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking.
The capacity to proactively turn detailed analysis into logical, end-to-end solutions with practical application, and the determination/perseverance to realise them.
The ability to communicate confidently and articulately verbally and on paper across the full range of seniority/clients. Tact and diplomacy are key.
Ability to cultivate and foster positive working relationships internal and external and with the offshore team.


What makes you stand out:

Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel
Experience using Business intelligence tools (Power BI)
Previous work experience/internship/placement within a data related role
