Mercer Portugal is seeking candidates for the following position based in Lisbon:


LEGAL CONSULTING ANALYST

IRISH MARKET



What can you expect?

As a consulting analyst, you will work as part of a team in Portugal supporting the legal team in Ireland. You will work directly with Ireland-based team and support teams in Portugal and Ireland to coordinate and manage the delivery of statements and documents to our clients.

For the initial 6 months it's required to work from the office. After that, you can opt for the hybrid working model, which allows you to work from home 2 days per week.


We will count on you to:

Help the legal team to manage a portfolio of clients on a day-to-day basis, manage and track ongoing actions for the individual ongoing process, draft correspondence to clients on a range of issues and questions;
Update various compliance documents;
Prepare communications to members;
Be involved in project work as required;
Support the Irish team in some tasks such as billing process, general analysis, etc.

What you need to have:

Bachelors or Masters in Law, International Relations or similar;
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills (C1 mandatory);
Excellent planning and organisational skills in order to prioritise and effectively manage a wide variety of ongoing tasks, in order to meet the multiple deadlines;
Attention to detail is critical;
Strong problem solving skills & ability to clearly articulate complex issues;
Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and clients. Comfortable dealing with client contacts;
Sometimes, adherence to tight deadlines will be important;
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (in particular a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and Word).
