Job Description:

An Employee Relations Specialist is responsible for providing counselling services to employees, participating in recruitment and dismissal processes, and performing employee background checks. They also communicate HR policies, collect and analyze employee data, and oversee employee training. The role is crucial in maintaining a productive work environment and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Employee Relations Specialist responsibilities include:

  • Offering counselling services to employees
  • Participating in recruitment and dismissal processes
  • Performing employee background checks and verifying information
  • Support the creation of a productive work environment that aligns with organizational goals.
  • As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting and organizing employee data and files, as well as overseeing employee training initiatives.
  • Working collaboratively with HR Specialists, your role will be to ensure that all employees have the necessary training, information, and resources to maximize their productivity within the organization.
  • By fostering positive employee relations and providing support throughout the employee lifecycle, you will contribute to overall success.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate policies pertaining to Human Resources, compensation, and benefits
  • Adhere to regulatory standards
  • Represent the company at job fairs and college campuses
  • Oversee employee orientation and training
  • Conducting/ organizing in-house events for employee motivation as and when required.

Requirements and skills

  • Proven work experience as an Employee Relations Specialist or similar role
  • Demonstrated knowledge of employment law
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving ability
