What You Will Do:


As the Human Resources Generalist, you will be responsible for administering and supporting our Human Resources, Payroll, and Safety practices. This role involves aligning human capital with organizational goals and maintaining compliance with our established policies and corporate directives.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Administer HR, payroll practices, and safety programs that align with corporate initiatives.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, ensuring effective resolution and communication.

  • Implement and coordinate recruiting and onboarding processes to secure top talent.

  • Manage performance management programs to support employee and business growth.

  • Coordinate employee benefit programs and safety compliance activities.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and data.


Position Requirements:



  • Education: Associates Degree in Business, Organizational Leadership, HR, or related field; or equivalent experience.

  • Experience: At least 2 years in a progressive HR role within a manufacturing environment.

  • Certifications: PHR certification preferred but not required.

  • Skills: Strong project management, organization, attention to detail, and capability to implement new HR practices. Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of learning proprietary software.

  • Language: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Behavioral Qualities: Customer-service oriented, proactive, resourceful, capable of maintaining confidentiality, and adept at building effective relationships.


Other Important Information:



  • Salary: Competitive, based on expertise.

  • Reporting to: HR Manager

  • Core Hours: Flexible; must cover all production shifts as needed.

  • Work Week: Monday to Friday; approx. 45 hours/week.

  • Direct Reports: None

  • Work Environment: Primarily office-based with occasional factory visits.

  • Travel Requirements: Minimal
