BOWER STUDIOS INC. is looking for an Industrial Designer.

Location of Employment: Brooklyn, NY

Job Duties

Generate design ideation for the company’s current product collections (mirror, furniture, lighting, and furniture accessories) and also forecast the design concepts for upcoming collections. Conduct design ideation for company’s products collections (mirror, furniture, lighting, and furniture accessories). Develop concepts and modify existing designs for customized design projects for mirrors, furniture, lighting, and furniture accessories. Determine scales and CMF of the design and then create 3D models and renderings. Manage production processes from material sourcing to design adjusting to reach high production efficiency and meet deadlines.

Minimum Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial design or a closely related field.
• Strong knowledge of CAD and CGI software C4D, Redshift, Octane.
• Strong knowledge of design principles, material sustainability principles, manufacturability (DFM) principles (e.g., injection molding, Resin/PLA 3D printing, metal plating), and quality assurance process.
• Strong knowledge of rapid sketching/ 3D visualization and animation skills.
• Strong knowledge may be gained through educational coursework, training, or experience.

Salary: $64480/Year

Job Type: 40 hrs, 5 days (Full-time)
