Lead technical efforts to support the design, development, and implementation of Health Insurance Claim software applications and systems. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience as a Software Engineer working on data applications and systems. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field and three (3) years of experience as a Software Engineer working on data applications and systems. Must have experience with the following: Designing and implementing applications that interact with multiple internal services via Application Programming Interfaces (APIs); Developing high-performance data services; Implementing backend systems for data tools and services; Providing comprehensive integration tests; Using continuous improvement/continuous delivery (CI/CD) deployment practices; Testing and deploying services for request processing and data storage into production; Utilizing database management systems, unit testing, and integration testing.
