Job Title: Tax Supervisor

Location: 1001 Liberty Ave, Suite 800, Pittsburgh, PA 15222



Duties:

Provide detail review and analysis of complex Private Equity & Hedge Fund partnership tax returns. Work on multiple complex issues while communicating in a non-technical matter to facilitate communication between the client and the service team, all while managing risk for both the client and the firm. Serve as the Tax client service coordinator for appropriate clients. Advise clients on a full spectrum of corporate tax services, including planning, research, and compliance Assist with new business development, extended service and tax issue recognition for existing clients. Interact directly with clients handling questions, planning, concerns, etc. Develop, motivate, and train staff level and intern team members. Perform, document, and summarize research and conclusions regarding specific tax issues. Review research findings and ensure conclusions are consistent with firm policies and professional standards. Remain up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law and the Firm's standards and policies.



Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Accounting or related; 5 years of experience as a Tax Consultant, Tax Senior or related, which must include: Utilizing technology and 1065 software (including Gosystem, CCH Axcess Tax, and K1 and partner allocation software) to ensure compliance with IRS reporting requirements under I.R.C. Subchapter K and C. Knowledge of Robotic Process Automation and apply tax knowledge to assist with development and testing of BOTs. Working with Hedge Funds, Private Equity, and management companies to manage large-scale year-round compliance projects, including mega size Private Equity funds.
