POSITION: Vinyl Record Press Operator

HOURS: DAY: Monday through Friday 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM

SALARY: $16.00 an hour

JOB DUTIES:

Operate 2 or more vinyl record presses.
Troubleshoot machine, mold and material problems.
Communicating effectively with supervisors to ensure quality components.
Fill in logs, keep accurate records and fill in timesheets.
Monitor and maintain area for organization, cleanliness and safety.
Responsible to follow all OSHA and safety rules and regulations.
Run test pressings
Grind excess materials as required
Consistently lift 50lbs.
Manage record labels as required
Manage stampers as required
Attend all company meeting as required
Perform other duties as required or assigned

REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent. (Vocational or Tech. School preferred.)
Must be mechanically inclined, with the aptitude to learn and adapt to new processes.
Must have the ability to read and write instructions and correspondence in English
Must be able to maintain good attendance
Work with minimum supervision in a team environment
Excellent communication and attention to detail under pressure with tight deadlines.
Understands and applies health and safety procedures in a manufacturing setting.
Flexibility with production schedule and willing to work overtime when required.
Black seal license a plus but able to obtain within 1 - 2 years if applicant does not have
Able to operate a computer or wireless device to communicate production issues and status
