The Company is principally involved in the production of PU RIM Mouldings, thermoplastics production, prototyping and light assembly work.
Job Role: Production Scheduler - IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE
Location: Rocket Studios Waterside Road Leicester LE5 1TL
Term: Permanent
Salary: 32,000 + pension contribution for 37.5 hours per week (finish 12.00 Fridays)
Holidays: 20 days per annum plus Bank Holidays (Days increase with length of service)
Holiday entitlement is the equivalent of 20 days per annum plus statutory bank holidays. The holiday year runs from 1st January to 31st December. We usually close for the period between Christmas and New Year and 3 days from your holiday allowance must be used to accommodate this.
Pension:
We operate a personal pension scheme with Aviva. The Company will contribute 4% of your salary provided that you contribute the 5% that is required by HMRC. You do of course have the right to opt out if you prefer.
Free on-site car parking available.
This role us subject the successful candidate completing a 3-month probationary period. (Full training and support will be provided throughout.)
The Role:
You will be joining a team of professionals in the pursuit of facilitating the production of prototypes and batch scale production parts and assemblies.
You will require at least two three years experience in a similar role.
You will be using your organisational skills to coordinate the needs of our clients and our internal production team in scheduling production output. The role therefore involves a relationship with both external and internal clients. Specifically, you will manage the scheduling of production orders, and facilitate the production function with the means to maintain throughput. You will also assist the administration team with a variety of production management related tasks. There will also be plenty of opportunity to help to enhance the companys output and overall performance through process and resource development. Basic Tasks:
- Overseeing and coordinating manufacturing output through workload scheduling and liaison with our production staff - Facilitating and hosting progress meetings with clients and subcontractors - Facilitating and hosting QC meetings and audits - Scheduling of Suppliers and Materials - Demand Planning and Forecasting - Excellent internal and external customer competency - Spreadsheet experience and analysis are required - ISO:9001 - Prior experience, or qualification in quality management would be an advantage, but training and full support will be given.
