Description/Comment: Job Description: The Assembly and Integration Engineer is responsible for the design, integration, and installation definition of electrical cables and harnesses in the air vehicle using the CATIA 3D Experience applications. Must have a basic understanding of DMU (Digital Mock-Up) application and implementation. Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Must have the ability to work well in a team environment to identify problems and develop solutions with minimum supervision. Desired Qualifications: Prior experience with Model Based Definition. Prior experience using Catia V5 FTA (Functional Tolerancing & Annotation) toolset. Must have prior experience with Enovia Matrix One PLM system. Responsibilities: Develop CATIA cable and harness routing conforming to system installation and system separation requirements. Synchronize and size CATIA harness bundles with wire data. Support the development of wiring diagrams, system architecture, equipment lists, parts lists, and related engineering documentation. Define interfaces and provisioning requirements between electrical harnesses, airframe, and surrounding systems IPTs. Detail design or parts needed for provision and support of cables and harness installation. Develop engineering installation drawings or MBD models. Develop harness and cable flattening and formboard definitions for use in manufacturing. Create and release cable and harness engineering using 3D Experience PLM applications. Support manufacturing with cable & harness build, test and installation activities
