Automated Rigging Specialist

Job Duties: Design automated rigging equipment to allow for movements of a video wall, suspending an artist in the air, lifting and tilting lighting truss. Ensure the safety of automated rigging process and develop rescue plan systems in case of failure of the equipment. Determine rigging points in arena ceilings, as well as calculate precise weight and forces applied to each rigged element. Supervise local contractors and direct how to install all automated rigging equipments. Inspect each elements for safety compliance and for them to be in good working order. Use specialized softwares to adjust the automated rigging equipment for each specific venue. Operate the computerized automated rigging system during the performance. After the performance, supervise and help the complete tear down of the automated rigging equipment. Inspect, repair and maintain the automated rigging equipment.
