GNRSystems, Inc. in Herndon, VA is seeking Senior QA Engineer(s) to develop and execute software tests to identify software problems and their causes. Individuals will apply advanced theoretical knowledge of Computer Science principles and concepts, as well as experience with functional test cases to perform the following duties:

Job responsibilities and duties include:
1. Develop test strategies and plans to achieve release commitments.
2. Develop functional test cases to ensure test coverage and devise different test suits for smoke, functional, and regression tests.
3. Develop automation roadmap, automation framework and scrips to integrate with Jenkins CI/CD pipeline.
4. Track end-to-end product quality and track customer issues.
5. Identify root cause of production issues and assist developers resolve the issues.

This position does not supervise any personnel or participate in any management decisions, nor does this position plan, direct or coordinate the activities of any personnel.

Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or any related field of study, plus at least five (5) years of post-degree, progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any position(s) in which the required experience was gained.

Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, and knowledge with the following:
• Eclipse
• Java
• Perforce
• JIRA
• Selenium

No travel. No Telecommuting. Job duties project-based and performed on long-term assignments at various unanticipated sites within the U.S. which may require employee to relocate at the end of each project.
