Mill and Lathe setup operators

Job description
Full Time positions for Mill/Lathe Setup Operators/Operators. Candidate will oversee operational activities and ensure excellent quality control.

Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate machining operations and activities
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion
Loan and unload equipment and materials
Be able to setup/operate CNC FANUC control
Precise setting of all tool offsets
Must have mathematical skills for calculating set-up requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry
Set up and operate machines with little or no supervision
Able to read and understand Engineering drawings/blueprint
Able to plan machining process, Study work orders, drawings, materials, specifications, and machine capabilities
Interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T) and read drawings
Must be familiar with G-Code machine language
Able to design and build set up fixturing
Maintain general shop safety and cleanliness
Provide innovative solutions to improve plant efficiency
Conduct routine preventive maintenance on machines

Qualifications:
Previous experience in plant operations or other related fields
Familiarity with plant tools and equipment
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
Ability to oversee physical workload
4 & 5-axis CNC Horizontal Setup
Knowledge of FANUC controls
Functional and Technical Skills
Attention to Detail

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
