Senior Cloud Engineer Streaming Platform (Kafka) Description This is an opportunity for a highly motivated Cloud Engineer to join Enterprise Cloud Computing (ECC) and work in a diverse, open and transparent culture were you will contribute to powering the next generation of digital services through innovative solutions using the latest cloud native technologies and leading-edge engineering practices. The Purpose of Your Role As a Cloud Engineer, you will be an integral member of the dynamic cloud computing team continuously innovating and improving our capabilities to enable the acceleration of journey to the cloud. You will work on a wide variety of cloud native stacks and technologies, leveraging cutting edge architectures and services. The Experience Were Looking For Technical aptitude to learn and adjust to new technologies and cloud trends Strong Cloud (AWS / Azure) Engineering experience with Software development background Experience with CI/CD practices and technologies (Jenkins, Github, GitOps, etc Extensive experience in designing and developing automations Working knowledge of networking principles such as load balancing, routing, VPCs, SDNs (e.g., AWS, Azure) Specialized skills in Kafka platform management. Design and development of the platform capabilities Linux Administration skills. Hands on experience with Kubernetes Web application server technologies. Work experience in Cloud Automation, DevOps or Full Stack Engineer role Familiar with Agile Scrum software development practices Experience and understanding of large-scale application portfolios in an enterprise scale environment Recognized for driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication skills Bonus skills Previous cloud certifications - Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure Certification desired Terraform, Groovy, and Ansible nice to have. Strong understanding of coding patterns and best practices
