Title: Applications Development Developer The primary work location: Austin, TX The ideal Candidate will have experience with a wide variety of technologies including Java (WebSphere Portal/JSP technologies) and Salesforce, which includes community portal and integrations such as Conga platform. They will have experience with AWS to assist in all phases of development, implementation, maintenance, and support in an agile environment. They will work closely with the software development and product teams to deliver high quality, scalable products. They will collaborate with the product teams to deliver the best product with most efficient use of resources and technologies. They will collaborate with project teams to assign responsibilities and identify appropriate resources needed to ensure timely completion of projects by meeting project milestones. They will also assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints. Successful candidates will be detail driven, have excellent problem-solving skills, and display excellent communication skills with the project teams. Key Responsibilities: Performs work on programming projects including those that are complex in nature or large in scale. Performs complex coding, testing, debugging, and implementation of applications. Ability to process information logically; to design programs and systems logic; to prepare and assist with program specifications. Ability to interpret technical information related to programming and other areas of data processing. Analyzes, designs, plans, diagrams, and verifies procedures for existing and proposed applications. Analyzes trends; coordinates with project teams to identify issues, risks, and opportunities for improvement; and collaborates strategy to mitigate or avoid future risks within the project/application. Strong business acumen and a collaborative, influential partner able to educate, build relationships, and foster adoption of sound security practices. 3 Required Strong experience with project/issue tracking systems such as JIRA. 3 Required Ability to meet deadlines, clear blockers, communicate delays and clarify ambiguous requirements. 3 Required Ability to resolve complex projectized issues in diverse and decentralized environments; to learn, communicate, and manage technical projects; and to communicate effectively. 3 Required Excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to stay focused on completing tasks and meeting goals within a busy workspace. 3 Required Extensive skill in effective verbal and written communications with other computer professionals, clients, and stakeholders. 3 Required Experience with progressive broad-based information systems, system integration and project delivery experience. 3 Required Ability to analyze and problem solve.
