Our client is in need for a Cyber Security SME to join their team in New Mexico(link removed) We are seeking an energetic, outgoing, team player!

Job Summary:

• Maintain, operate, manage, and propose changes to security programs to include process, technical, administrative, configuration management, total life-cycle support.


• Provide recommendations and solutions for implementing intelligence and cybersecurity programs and projects.


• Adhere to standards and those processes and further defined by our client.


• Provide program reviews, schedules, action item updates and required procedures by established deadlines.


• Conduct timely and in-depth research for policies and processes.


• Make edits to existing documents, prepare briefings to update the status of actions.


• Coordinate with all project members to meet the goals and objectives of the assigned task.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, MIS or related discipline.


• 6+ years demonstrated/practical hands-on experience as a Cybersecurity Developer or closely related position.


• 1 year minimum of experience using Risk Management Framework (RMF) IT security controls and policies.


• DoD experience is required, AF experience and background is a plus!


• Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines.


• Capable of conveying complex information in a simplistic manner.


• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.


• Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision.


• Able to take proactive measures to prevent problems rather than reactive by nature.


• Strong verbal and written communication to effectively express concepts, plans, and proposals

Security Clearance:

DoD active security TS/SCI is a requirement for this position. Candidates without proper clearance will not be considered.

Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen.

Salary DOE: $130,000 - $145,000 DOE
