Responsibilities Tier 1 support both internally and externally Assist with client communication Analyze and assign incoming tickets within our ticketing system Leverage backup monitoring solutions to identify backup failures that require remediation. Leverage AlertLogic, our third-party monitoring tool to identify vulnerabilities that need attention within our client AWS/Azure environments. Utilize Jira Service Desk, our internal ticketing system, to create, monitor, and update tickets for our clients Assist internal users on system and troubleshooting issues as IT support Assist Service Delivery Group gathering information for client reports Create technical documentation & drive operational process improvement Compile server utilization reports to help clients with capacity planning Complete online training courses on relevant technologies used within our organization Leverage automation tools (Automox, ASGs, Azure automation accounts) to schedule and coordinate maintenances for patching for our AWS/Azure customers. Requirements AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner ( required ), AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate (expected to obtain within first 90 days of employment), AWS Certified SysOps Administrator (nice-to-have) Familiarity with Linux/Unix and/or Windows Server Administration Excellent customer service and strong written/verbal communication skills Ability to multitask effectively High attention to detail Ability and curiosity to learn a full range of technology platforms and data network systems as well as apply new skills rapidly >1 year of experience in a technological field; internships or school IT departments count! An interest in emerging technologies High School Diploma/GED and 3 years of experience, or any level degree or certification beyond HS diploma/GED + up to 1 year experience or 5 years of experience without a degree USD 25.58 - 38.37 per hourCompensation:Hourly base pay rate is $25.58 - $38.37/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.Benefits:Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
