Engineering Manager (NY, NY) Lead s/ware engg team to dvlp reliable & scalable s/ware for mobile application; manage the engg team to restructure & redsgn tools & features; oversee continuous data deployment in our mobile application to our cloud-based infrastructure, & the dsgn & implmtn of our backend systems; review the coding of our s/ware, trouble-shoot, & test; remove roadblocks for the engg team & ensure that effective tech solutions are implmtd for s/ware &/or back-end system failures; establish clear expectations for team members, solicit, synthesize, & deliver feedback, & motivate engg team to deliver the most important work; & partner w/ product & mktg team to understand the business needs & ensure that those needs are translated into technical solutions & conceptualize new analytics features. Must have Master's Deg in Comp Sci, or rltd, + 3 yrs of exp as an Engg Mgr or Engg Director for s/ware, & 3 years bldg REST API's, AWS technology stack, Javascript, PostgreSQL, source s/ware Git, & JIRA for agile workflow.
