Oklahoma Ford Dealerships are expanding rapidly and are currently hiring Entry Level and Experienced Automotive Technicians that have a desire to work as an Automotive Service Technician and be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing Ford Motor Company Customer's cars and trucks.
Entry Level Automotive Technician Requirements:
• Willing to train as an automotive electrical and mechanical trainee.
• Ford and ASE certifications are a plus but are not required.
• Willing to do computer-based training courses and attend classroom training
courses to obtain and retain the Certification and Credentials required by Ford
Motor Company to be a Certified Ford Service Technician
• Hold a valid driver license.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be able to pass a drug screening test.
• Willingness to attend an associate degree program in automotive repair program is
a plus.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer
service.
• Be able to read, interpret and transcribe data to maintain accurate records.
• Willing to perform routine maintenance and other tasks in a fast-paced
environment.
• Able to lift objects that weigh as much as 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willing to work as an entry level lube technician apprentice trainee and to do on-
the-job training.
• Desire to understand the various automotive operating systems.
• Ability to use various pieces of diagnostic equipment.
• Desire to work on diesel equipment and as a diesel technician is a plus.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
Working as an Automotive Technician you will:
• Perform maintenance and repair on customer vehicles.
• Identify problems with vehicles using proper diagnostic equipment.
• Explain automotive repairs and issues and provide great customer service.
• Plan repair procedures using charts manuals and experience.
• Test the functionality of parts and systems.
• Perform basic auto care and maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid level
checks, and tire rotation.
• Repair and replace brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors, and other parts.
• Perform routine maintenance and general mechanic work on vehicles.
• Help keep repair shop clean and organized.
