Must have experience with each of the following: (1) SolidWorks and AutoCAD; (2) Creating and updating Engineering Change Notice (ECN) and Bill of Material (BOM); (3) Thermal load calculation for refrigeration system; (4) Prototype testing; (5) Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Six Sigma; and (6) Sheet Metal Design and Weldments. Job Description: Create & design customized cooking equipment and kitchen systems. Create models and drawings of product utilizing Auto CAD and SolidWorks engineering software. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics. Prepare production drawings to show stainless steel fabrication including every dimension, bend, hole-punch and weld for every part used in the manufacturing process of the cooking equipment. Create models showing "exploded views" for production so that the manufacturing process can be seen from different angles. Create design for custom refrigeration unit as per customer's request, by calculating required thermal load and heat load. Select condensing unit based on data calculated for the custom refrigeration unit and integrate different types of cooking units together to create custom kitchen island suite. Create and update Engineering Change Notice (ECN) for the bill of material (BOM) for manufacturing and purchasing. Ensure complete and accurate BOM entry into the ERP system. Develop, design, modify and improve mechanical product design for different commercial cooking equipment applications. Evaluate mechanical systems and products by designing and conducting research programs, applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, and materials.
