Salesforce Inc. seeks Director, ISV Technical Evangelist in Dallas, TX:

Job Duties: Recruit new and manage existing ISVs to build on the platform by highlighting Salesforce platform technologies and features. Participate in architectural and design discussions with strategic ISV partners to ensure technical success with Salesforce technologies. Influence next-generation platform technologies, features, and tools in partnership with internal product R&D teams. Evangelize Salesforce platform technologies via interactions with our partner community including in-person events, blogs, wiki articles, discussion forums, code samples, newsletters, and webinars. Own and develop Proof of Concepts for ISV Partners end-to-end. Architect and document technical solution based on the ISV needs. Lead and mentor other Technical Evangelists. Review the work of Technical Evangelists and provide performance feedback and course correction. Conduct performance reviews and make hiring, firing, and promotion recommendations. Share sound development practices with ISV Partners. Participate in joint customer projects to provide guidance and best practices whenever ISV solution is involved. Understand the integration of business processes across disparate ISV focused systems. Telecommuting is permitted. Some travel to Salesforce offices and client sites at unanticipated locations across the U.S. is required.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field, OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: Two (2) years of experience in all of the following is required: (1) Service Cloud; (2) Sales Cloud; (3) Apex; (4) VisualForce; (5) SOQL; (6) SOSL; (7) Web Services; (8) Performing Technical Reviews; (9) DB2; and (10) JQuery.
Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is permitted. Some travel to Salesforce offices and client sites at unanticipated locations across the U.S. is required.
