Central City Junior Kindergarten Ltd. requires 2 Early Childhood Educators to join them ASAP.

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (35 to 40 hours a week)
Wage: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour (based on experience)

Duties:
• Planning, implementing and evaluating curriculum for children;
• Assisting children with exploring, leaning and sharing;
• Participate in diapering, toilet training and bathroom duties for the children;
• Foster a positive learning environment through play-based activities.
• Monitoring the children's progress and development;
• Ensuring a healthy and safe environment for all children;
• Ensuring positive communication with children and parents and co-educators
• Attending and participating in monthly staff, parent meetings;
• Assist and work closely with other Early Childhood Educators or Supervisors in keeping records;
• Maintain daycare equipment and assist in housekeeping and cooking duties;
• Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children;
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of other ECEs or ECEAs.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians.
• Promote diversity, inclusion, and professional development.
• Support families and maintain accurate documentation.

Skills requirement:
Education: Completion of Secondary school is required.
Credentials: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate, First Aid Certificate
Experience: Experience would be an asset
Good command of English – both, written and oral
Security and Safety: Criminal record check

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, Manual dexterity.
