Job Title: Operations Manager
Location: Sparks, Nevada
Salary: $80-100K plus bonus

Job Summary of the Operations Manager: The Operations Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and continuous improvement. You will be responsible for managing a diverse team, optimizing operational processes, and implementing strategies that enhance productivity and ensure quality.

Job Responsibilities of the Operations Manager:
Implement and oversee efficient warehouse operations, utilizing ERP systems to streamline processes, manage inventory, and ensure accurate data management.
Drive throughput initiatives to maximize productivity and minimize lead times, ensuring customer orders are fulfilled on time and to specification.
Champion LEAN continuous improvement methodologies, identifying areas for improvement, leading Kaizen events, and fostering a culture of efficiency and waste reduction.
Manage and develop a team of both hourly and salaried employees, setting clear expectations, providing training and development opportunities, and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
Regularly review performance data to identify trends, anticipate issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Ensure all products meet quality standards and compliance requirements, collaborating with the quality team to address any issues promptly.
Promote and enforce a safe working environment, adhering to all safety regulations and best practices.
Education & Experience of the Operations Manager:
Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in ERP systems and a strong understanding of how to leverage technology to improve operational efficiencies.
Demonstrated experience with LEAN continuous improvement methodologies, with a track record of successful implementation and tangible results.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing both hourly and salaried team members.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating and leading a team towards achieving operational excellence.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.
