Mercer is seeking candidates for the following position in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane:
Workplace Education Manager 12-month contract

This role is part of the national Education team and is responsible for delivery of education to current and prospective Mercer Super members in client workplaces and direct to members.

We will count on you to:
Develop and deliver simple, easy to understand, meaningful education with clear actions and next steps - in workplaces and direct to members using virtual mechanisms like Webinars. Deliver general superannuation advice conversations for employees (member and non-member) within large relationship managed client plans - both in a virtual & face-to-face format. Showcase Mercer Super tools and resources to encourage members to understand and engage with their super and ultimately optimize their retirement outcomes. Work with Client Executives for large employer plans to identify and support member education needs in client workplaces - including delivering education seminars and webinars, and presenting content as part of graduate, new employee, careers and health and wellness workplace events. Identify members who may benefit from financial advice and refer them to the appropriate channel (e-advice, Helpline advice or strategic advice). Support the transition and onboarding of new major client accounts to Mercer Super with the delivery of education and one on ones as needed. Drive understanding and engagement of superannuation through simple and compelling content, bring fresh ideas and look for new ways to present insights and analysis, exploring new formats to engage our audience. Plan for, and report on, workplace education activity and identify and presentinsights and learnings to drive future plans and developments in our approach to member education. Identify member servicing gaps and pain points and raise them up to the Customer Experience Team.
What you need to have:
Minimum of 1-2 years experience providing superannuation general advice to members in the workplace Minimum 5+ years experience working in the superannuation sector Sound understanding of superannuation legislation, regulations and how super works, including current RG146 qualification or financial planning qualification Well-developed presentation / client service skills Excellent organisational and time management skills including abilityto multitask and manage to deadlines Strong client and member focus Growth mindset / Continuous improvement focus Ability to travel independently (locally, regionally and interstate) to deliver education and advice in the workplace - including outside office hours, on occasion, as required.
