Role: Methods EngineerLocation: Thunderbay, ON (Onsite) Experience levels : 5 Plus years with minimum 3 plus in Rail -During specification and preliminary design phases:-Bring ideas to the Process Engineer or the PIM to guide product definition in order to improve the product manufacturability and achieve QCD targetsParticipate to the product design reviews when requiredEstimate Method Time-During detailed design phase and before Serial Go:-Participate to P-FMEAParticipate to validation of prototypes if anyRequest tooling when needed and write tooling specificationsDepending on the domain: perform ERP routings, Work Instructions, Inspection Instructions, program for CNC machines. And this ensuring good EHS and ergonomic conditionsPerform work stations task sequencingValidate product design and industrialization through FAR and FAICalculate precise Method Time-After serial Go:-Industrialize retrofit after engineering changes: Routings, Work Instructions, and toolingSupport Production to achieve manufacturing QCD targetsParticipate to continuous improvement workshopsParticipate in creating 3D Standard Operating Instructions (SoI) for assembly and Disassembly procedures
