Application Support Analyst Columbus, OH / Jersey City, NJContract/ FTEJob Summary:In this role, you'll be the go-to person for our users, providing exceptional support for Citrix XenApp and virtual desktop solutions. You'll troubleshoot a wide range of application issues, ensuring our users have a seamless and productive experience. Your knowledge of VMware will be a valuable asset as well.Responsibilities: Provide first-line technical support to users experiencing issues with Citrix XenApp and virtual desktops Diagnose and troubleshoot a variety of application problems, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., development, infrastructure) to resolve complex issues and ensure timely resolution Document procedures and maintain clear knowledge base articles to empower both users and fellow analysts Stay up-to-date on the latest Citrix XenApp and virtual desktop technologies, applying your knowledge to optimize our environment Proactively identify potential issues and implement preventative measures to minimize downtime Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in a Citrix and/or virtual desktop environment Strong understanding of Citrix XenApp and its functionalities Solid troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve application issues efficiently Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to users in a clear and concise manner A customer-centric approach with a commitment to providing exceptional service and exceeding user expectations Proficiency in Windows operating systems Knowledge of VMware vSphere and related technologies (a plus)
