Salesforce Inc. seeks Lead Solution Engineer in Dallas, TX:

Job Duties: Analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to develop and implement solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns. Perform systems management and integration functions, improve existing computer systems, and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and schedule limitations. Understand the customer's needs and establish Salesforce's product as the best solution that solves the customer's challenges. Build and present customized demos of Salesforce products. Convey deep understanding of the customer's industry and technology as it pertains to Salesforce's solutions. Participate in all appropriate product, sales, and procedural trainings and certifications to acquire. Maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective in the position. Responsible to respond effectively to RFPs. Engage internal teams upon receipt of the RFP from the customer. Lead the technical side of the sales cycle. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required. May be assigned to various, unanticipated worksites throughout the United States. Employer will accept a 3- or 4-year Bachelor's degree. Will accept a single degree or any combination of degrees, diplomas, or professional experience determined to be equivalent by a qualified evaluation service.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Salesforce Platform and associated capabilities/clouds; (2) Customer Relationship Management; (3) Industry Consulting & Acumen; (4) Technical Sales; (5) Business Process Consulting; (6) Executive Presentation Skills; (7) Analytics; (8) Process Automation and Digitization; and (9) Data Management. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
