Marsh McLennan are hiring for a Treasury Manager to join our newly established Regional Treasury Centre based in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity to grow this new entity and shape how it looks into the future while collaborating with colleagues globally to share best in class delivery for our key stakeholders.

This role will report into the Director of Treasury based in Dublin and will assist with establishing and managing the center including intercompany funding, banking and liquidity structures, cash flow forecasts, any associated FX and investments. As we grow the team, we envisage the Manager role having 2 analysts reporting into it.

We will rely on you to:


Establish the Regional Treasury Centre:
Work with the Director to establish, build out, and grow the Treasury Center including the recruitment of the Treasury Analysts.

Continuous Process Improvement
: Work with the Director to review current activities of the function and by delivering improvement recommendations including automation of processes and roll-out of FIS Quantum functionality across regional operations.

Projects:
Support and manage, where appropriate, any project related initiatives such as process changes, banking related changes and corporate actions (mergers, acquisitions, and changes in legal structure).

Regional Repatriations & Funding:
Work with the Director, to drive regional repatriation programmes; manage the Treasury analysts in the review of excess cash projections and ensure they work with local Finance and MMC Tax to maximize repatriations. Management and oversight of borrowing money from, and lending money to, associated corporations within delegated authority limits. Responsible for reviewing funding requests (including financeability, preferred funding source and FX considerations) for approval by the Director. Regularly reviews existing inter-company loans to identify opportunities to rationalize and eliminate.

Regional Intercompany Loan Management:
Oversees Analysts to ensure intercompany loan payables and receivables payment process is well managed in line with MMC Treasury guidelines.

Regional Treasury Operations:
Management of the Treasury Analysts to support the efficient execution of FX, Liquidity & Investment policies. Drives efficiency and streamlining within the team recommending changes to overall strategy to the Director. Review and identify any new appropriate counterparties and/or instruments and make recommendations to the Director.

Regional Banking & Liquidity Structures:
Work with the Director to review local banking and potential corporate liquidity structures with the aim of diversifying risk and enabling automated concentration. Streamline banking relationships and be a subject matter expert across fixed income.

Regional Bank Relationships
: Support the Director in the management of the regional banking relationships including relationship reviews, service levels and bank fees. Identify potential efficiencies and cost savings.

Bank Account Administration:
Oversight of Treasury Analysts to ensure bank accounts administration is completed effectively.

Treasury Reporting & Policy Compliance:
Oversees Treasury Analysts to ensure all reporting requirements for the Center is completed in a timely, accurate and efficient manner. Review the analysis of cash, FX exposures, invested funds, interest income and yields for management reporting, budgeting and forecasting functions. Provide guidance on MMC treasury policies.

Team Development & Growth:
Focuses on growing the team's capabilities, responsibilities, and other various skills sets. Will set quarterly 360 reviews with the team to ensure growth targets and learning goals are being met. Coninous development is a primary focus for the team.

People Management:
Help lead the day-to-day management of the team including acting as a mentor/manager.

Treasury subject matter expert
Good market knowledge
Analytical with good attention to detail
Strong reporting experience
Experience of leading process improvement initiatives
Highly organized
Focus on stakeholder management and how can deliver best service
Technology savvy

5+ years Treasury experience
People management experience
University Degree or Masters
