Job DescriptionAdministrative Support - Assist with the maintenance and organization of employee records, including filing, scanning, and updating information in the HR database
- Prepare HR-related documents such as employment contracts, offer letters, and other correspondence.
- Assist in scheduling interviews, meetings, and training sessions, and maintain calendars for HR personnel
Duties and Responsibilities - Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures that align with the organization's overall goals and objectives
- Create and implement talent management initiatives, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR to ensure the organization remains competitive and compliant
Employee Relations and Engagement - Oversee employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures
- Develop and implement employee retention strategies, including recognition programs, career development initiatives, and work-life balance initiative
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits, providing accurate and timely information
- Support disciplinary and grievance procedures, as required, by documenting meetings, maintaining records, and coordinating follow-up actions
- Assist in coordinating employee performance evaluation processes and tracking performance-related data
Attendance Management - Maintain and update attendance records for employees, including tracking hours worked, leaves of absence, vacation, and sick time
- Review and verify attendance data provided by employees and managers, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Resolve attendance discrepancies, including missing punch-ins or punch-outs, and address any issues with tardiness or absenteeism
- Generate attendance reports and provide insights to management regarding attendance trends and patterns
Payroll Processing - Collect and review timesheets, attendance records, and other relevant data to calculate employee wages, bonuses, overtime, and deduction
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll by entering data into the payroll system and verifying information for each pay period
- Review payroll reports for accuracy, identifying and correcting any errors or discrepancies
- Process payroll adjustments, such as retroactive pay, terminations, and new hires, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee payroll records, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations
- Stay informed about changes in payroll regulations and tax laws, and ensure adherence to legal requirements
- Assist in audits and provide necessary payroll-related documentation and reports as required
- PF & ESI
HR Compliance and Reporting - Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation, including personnel files, contracts, and policies.
- Prepared reports and metrics on HR-related data, such as turnover rates, training initiatives, and diversity and inclusion efforts
- Participate in HR projects such as policy reviews, employee handbook updates, and process improvements
- Compliance HR data, generate reports, and assist in analyzing HR metrics
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations and maintain knowledge of current HR trends and best practices
Recruitment and Selection - Oversee the recruitment and selection process, ensuring the organization attracts and hires qualified candidates
- Develop recruitment strategies, including sourcing channels, job postings, and candidate evaluation methods
- Oversee the development of job descriptions, conduct interviews, and participate in the final selection process for key positions
- Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding process for new employees
- Collaborate with team members to post job openings on job boards, company website, and other relevant platforms
- Screen resumes and applications, and assist with shortlisting candidates
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, conduct reference checks, and assist in the selection process
- Maintain applicant tracking system and ensure accurate and up-to-date information
Qualifications and Skills - Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar leadership role
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels of the organization
- Experience in talent management, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and other HR-related software
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
