Project Engineering Manager


Full Time/ Hybrid


Omaha, NE



We are looking for a skilled Project Engineering Manager to oversee our engineering projects from conception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects within scope, schedule, and budget constraints while ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.



What you will be doing as a Project Engineering Manager:



Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.


Lead a small 3 person engineering team to ensure project objectives are met.


Allocate resources effectively to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.


Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team, resolving technical issues and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.


Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, management, and cross-functional teams, providing regular updates on project status and addressing concerns promptly.


Implement quality control measures to ensure deliverables meet or exceed customer expectations and adhere to project specifications.


Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements and innovation initiatives to enhance project efficiency, quality, and profitability.


Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including design documents, engineering drawings, and project reports, to facilitate project tracking and knowledge transfer.



What you will need as a Project Engineering Manager:


Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification is a plus.


Proven experience in project management, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing environment.


Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.


Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.


Solid understanding of engineering principles, design methodologies, and manufacturing processes.


Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar.


Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.


Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions.


Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards, such as ISO, ASME, or ASTM.


Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
