1. Provide management support to sales representatives and freight agents to ensure they possess the proper knowledge to help support our customers and work with them on setting sales and shipping quotas.
2. Provide coaching, mentoring and timely feedback to our sales reps about the company’s transportation management and freight broker-related services as well as impart this knowledge to our customers when needed.
3. Research logistics and shipping demand in various markets, develop and implement sales strategies based on corporate sales goals and objectives.
4. Analyze market trends and metrics as it relates to company’s shipping and logistics products using DAT and Truckstop database.
5. Determine suitable sales and marketing channels to pursue based on anticipated and historical industry segment demand.
6. Cultivate and maintain ongoing business relationships with key shippers and distributors and their management through periodic business development meetings and updated economic analysis on new market developments.
7. Conduct customer and sales revenue analysis and reporting using CRM software HubSpot.
8. Lead strategic planning sessions with key shippers and partners on how to position our product offerings in the marketplace against key competitors.
9. Manages the sales and logistics teams responsible for the transportation and shipping functions within all in-region distributors, their corporate personnel, as well as their key staff.
10. Analyze the impact of marketing campaigns on new customer acquisition and retention programs.
11. Manage Customer relations including the introduction of new freight broker-related services and develop customer retention policies and sales incentives based on future projections and sales opportunities.

May Telecommute.

Will travel 20% within the U.S. to meet with sales representatives and clients.

Requires four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related. Experience must have included:

a) Experience with US and Canada freight brokerage laws including transportation law, freight logistics, taxes, and tariffs.
b) Analyzing market trends and metrics using DAT and Truckstop database.
c) Leading group management and strategy development meetings.
d) Conducting customer and sales revenue analysis and reporting using CRM software HubSpot.
e) Leading strategic planning sessions with key shippers and partners.
f) Developing customer retention policies and sales incentives in the freight and shipping industry based on future projections and sales opportunities.
