Chen Tech, LLC is looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Developer to work in Miami Gardens, Florida.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Utilize understanding of a variety of data sources including transactional databases, data warehouses, internal tools, and external integrations. Work closely with business units and technical teams to understand, develop, improve, and maintain BI systems. Transform data into metrics, automated reports, and dashboards providing actionable insights to improve decision-making at all levels of the business. Specify, analyze, design, implement and test BI solutions to meet business needs. Develop reports, dashboards, and tools using SQL, SSRS, and QlikView, NPrinting, as well as other tools. Take ownership of data and constantly improve its quality and integrity, while proactively identifying issues at every step and coordinating the implementation of required fixes. Document existing processes, architectures and code. Assist, mentor, and instruct lower-level developers and analysts as needed. May telecommute from South Florida metropolitan area and physically report to Chen Tech, LLC’s office location in Miami Gardens, Florida three (3) days per week.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:
· Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, or related quantitative field of study. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, or related quantitative field of study. Will accept foreign educational equivalent.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· One (1) year of experience as a Business Intelligence Developer or a related data analytics occupation with a Master’s degree, or three (3) years of experience as a Business Intelligence Developer or a related data analytics occupation with a Bachelor’s degree.
· The position requires one (1) year of experience with each of the following: analyzing and manipulating data from a variety of production systems and data platforms; SQL; database such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Snowflake; working with a variety of reporting and analytic tools, such as QlikView, PowerBI, or SSRS.
· The position requires healthcare industry experience.
· The position requires experience with query tuning and database engine optimization, database programming, stored procedures, data imports and exports.
