Software Engineer
Job location: Menlo Park, CA

Description:
· Design, develop and test Javascript software applications for use in financial institutions and internal development.
· Create automated test suites to perform User Acceptance Testing for each release cycle using Cypress and other automation tools.
· Analyze and debug issues in production environments and take action upon bugs reported by internal and external users.
· Engage with junior software engineers with training material on frontend development best practices and create a knowledge network for other engineers to tap into.
· Support customer presentations and demonstrations via auxiliary material and slides to support business objectives.
· Facilitate discussions across teams when designing and developing cross functional applications.

Minimum requirements:

U.S. Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, or a related field plus 3 years’ of experience in software development.

Experience must include:

- 3 years’ experience creating and maintaining Javascript applications for internal and external use;

- 3 years’ experience working with RESTful and GraphQL server and client implementations;

- 3 years’ experience using source code version control systems like Git;

- 3 years’ experience building automated test suites using established frameworks such as Cypress and Jest;

- 3 years’ experience using Chrome Developer Tools to track network calls and view stack traces;

- 3 years’ experience working with Linux based systems and managing Linux servers and workstations, working with scripting languages such as Bash or Python;

- 3 years’ experience working with cloud technologies such as AWS and utilizing their Compute, DNS and CDN products.
