Atlantic Sapphire USA LLC is seeking a Senior Bluehouse Manager in Homestead, FL. Job duties: Responsible for the complete health and growth of the assigned Bluehouse system(s), planning movements into and out of the system, and coordinating the team to ensure tasks get done. This position includes interaction with the system and the fish so situational awareness and alertness are paramount. Core areas of responsibility include managing the Bluehouse team to ensure KPls are met and safety standards are maintained, establishing procedural and operational plans and strategies for the Bluehouse, and supporting the operations of the Bluehouse by evaluating water quality, making necessary system adjustments, and assisting with sampling.
Job requirements: A Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Marine Science, Marine Engineering, Biology, Aquaculture, Environmental Science or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related position in the field of aquaculture. Must have the following experience gained any amount either via coursework or work experience in: Farm management, RAS, aquaculture, fishing, fish handling. and mechanical or pipeline work.
