We will count on you to:Supporting the design and development of Analytics Modernization applications and partner with the developers of Vendor team to successfully deliver the solutions to UAT & Production.Act as the Senior Developer, technical authority from Guy Carpenter development team in educating Vendor team on design & delivery, best practices & Coding standards and CI/CD processes.Provide application design feedback to the Vendor project team on an ongoing basis & Provide technical oversight.Design & build API & data integrations between the various applications in the Platform utilizing modern cloud based stack like Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions and(or) Azure Data Factory.Collaborate closely with Agile Dev team members, Product Owners, business users, Product Manager, Architects & QA to deliver business value.Automate build, test (unit, functional, security vulnerability and performance) and deployment of the code part of the CI/CD pipeline by working closely with DevOps & Platform Engineers.Participate in continual improvement of the tools and processes involved in the software development process. Work with Quality Assurance (QA) and Business teams on bug tracking/issue management and Production Support. Performs end-user and technical support to Business users queries & issues. What you need to have:Bachelors or master's degree in Computer Science or related field or have relevant experience.9-15 years of relevant experience as a Senior Software Engineer with experience in coding in either of the technologies with .NET / .NET Core / Python / NodeJS and Javascript (Angular or React).Recent experience working as a Tech Lead.Hands on experience working on Complex Web applications with Modern Front End Javascript frameworks like Angular or React and Backend in .NET Core / NodeJS.Experience deploying/maintaining cloud resources (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Highly proficient & a rock star in SQL.Knowledge of various industry-leading NoSQL database systemsExperience working in an Agile environment to facilitate the quick and effective fulfillment of group goalsGood interpersonal skills for establishing and maintaining good internal relationships, working well as part of a team and for presentations and discussionsStrong analytical skills and intellectual curiosity as demonstrated through academic experience or work assignmentsGood ability to prioritize workload according to volume, urgency, etc. and to deliver on required projects in a timely fashionA passion for being a versatile Developer open to learning & immersing in other technology stack like Python etc.

What makes you stand out:Strong understanding & documented hands on experience in migrating On Prem applications to Azure Cloud.Experience in container based deployments using Docker & development & deployment experience of Microservices on Kubernetes.Familiarity with modern Cloud native Spark based platforms like Amazon EMR or Databricks.Familiarity with the MS Azure cloud environment, including ARM template deploymentsStrong knowledge of CI/CD principles and practical experience with a CI/CD technology (Azure Devops, GitLab, Travis, Jenkins).Insurance, Reinsurance or Financial industry experience.
