Key Responsibilities:

Contribute to the evolution of the business through taking accountability for gathering requirements and shaping software developments to improve our capability and quality of our products and services, in response to client and business needs.
Lead requirements gathering and definition on projects and change initiatives to improve our operational and commercial capabilities
Write well thought out, clear, and detailed user stories and communicate these effectively to different stakeholders.
Brief developers and architects on your requirements.
Work closely with the development teams and project managers to create realistic plans to deliver against.
Lead backlog grooming and sprint planning meetings.
Carry out user acceptance testing (UAT) on developed user stories
Support and contribution into the creation of business case, including expected resource requirements, success criteria and gating routes.
Champion, explain and demonstrate the business analysis process to stakeholders.
Contribute to the creation and evolution of business analysis processes and procedures within the team and wider business.

Scope & Design Requirements gathering

Review, Assess, Test Review & scoping of options, in response to client/business problems Assess & review available technology to enable solutions
Presentations & pitches around options and solutions Analysis of impact to Service Delivery function (link removed)>Test & Develop Lead user acceptance testing to ensure business requirements are met.
Implement Input to project plans & docs Consultancy & Advice when transitioning to Service Delivery function.
Responsibility for definitions & documented new or changed processes for implementation to Service Delivery function (incl. ISO).

Measures of success in this role:

Requirements defined and signed off that satisfies both business users and developers.
Detailed user stories written right first time to deliver against higher level business needs Measurable improvements to our services being delivered.
Testing delivered effectively so that all issues are resolved before going live.
Excellent working relationships across the Technology and Operations functions.
High degree of stakeholder engagement and feedback.
Business Analysis tasks completed to time in project plan.

Key Capabilities:

Experience working in a business who are transforming their products, services and legacy technology platforms.
Writing clear and detailed user stories in an agile software development environment.
Skills in SQL and using relational databases to test developed user stories.
Ability to engage, develop and collaborate with team members and wider business.
Curiosity and passion for technology and business improvement.
Thorough and robust approach to business analysis.
Superb communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage people at all levels of the business.
Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
