Welder/Pipefitter - Industrial HVAC - Winston-Salem, NC

Our client is seeking a skilled HVAC Welder/Pipefitter with a Certified Welder Certificate to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of duties related to HVAC systems maintenance, installation, and repair.

Welder/Pipefitter Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Install, replace, or repair equipment as needed.
• Repair/replace low and high-pressure liquid/vapor lines. 
• Test the pressure of liquids and vapor with instrumentation and make necessary adjustments.
• Inspect and service refrigeration equipment including refrigerators, gas packs, and heat pumps.
• Maintain chilled and hot water supply systems.
• Adjust and maintain internal electrical and electronic control systems.
• Assemble and install metal ductwork.
• Perform welding tasks on chiller and hot water supply systems, as well as structural steel and components.
• Crane rigging certifications are preferred.
• Recognize and identify potential risks and hazards associated with performing all work-related duties safely and work to mitigate them.
• Embrace a teamwork approach to ensure the success of all projects.

Welder/Pipefitter Qualifications:

• Certified Welder Certificate.
• Proven experience in HVAC maintenance, installation, and repair.
• Proficiency in welding techniques.
• Ability to recognize and mitigate risks associated with HVAC work.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
