Maverick Search Partners has been enlisted to help Avant Healthcare identify a Facilities Support Manager. This role plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, warehouse, and corporate apartments. You will oversee a team responsible for general maintenance, repairs, and overall upkeep. You'll also be instrumental in creating a welcoming and compliant environment for our incoming healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Facilities Support Team to handle maintenance requests, repairs, and minor building projects.
- Oversee staffing, training, and scheduling to maintain efficient operations.
- Manage contracted vendors for preventive maintenance and ensure adherence to contracts.
- Identify and resolve roadblocks to keep projects moving on time and within budget.
- Manage established repair/maintenance programs for corporate offices, warehouse, and apartments.
- Oversee the setup of company events, meetings, and prepare facilities for visitors.
- Manage work order systems and ensure timely completion of requests.
- Respond to apartment and tenant needs, including emergencies.
- Provide instructions for apartment rules and expectations to ensure compliance.
- Conduct weekly inspections of apartments and oversee property management initiatives.
- Manage security access for offices and apartments, and troubleshoot any issues.
- Oversee internal communications with HCP residents.
- Coordinate apartment assignments with the Logistics team.
- Assist in creating housing rules that comply with company policies and regulations.
- Facilitate tenant move-in/out procedures and manage apartment utilities, furnishings, and supplies.
- Provide administrative support to the Facilities Support Team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, Associate's degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance.
- Minimum 2 years of managerial experience.
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with various levels of management and external partners.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
