Our client, a well-established and respected accounting and tax firm, has an immediate need for a new full charge bookkeeper. The full charge bookkeeper will report directly to the owner and will be primarily responsible for full cycle accounting for multiple small businesses.

Duties include:
- Bookkeeping.
- Posting journal entries, adjusting journal entries.
- Trial balance.
- Producing financial statements.
- Credit card reconciliations.
- Preparing and filing sales/use tax.
- Preparing payroll and payroll taxes (940/941).
- Income tax preparation: individual (1040), corporate (1120 and 1120S), and trust (1041).
- Other duties, as assigned.
Candidates for the full charge bookkeeper position should have 2+ years of general ledger accounting experience and a bachelor's degree in accounting and/or finance, or 5+ years of experience with G/L maintenance and knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
