Looking for someone from Real estate, Construction Industry.
Responsibilities: 1. Risk Assessment: Identify potential hazards and conduct regular risk assessments to evaluate safety risks associated with construction activities. This includes assessing risks related to working at heights, machinery operation, hazardous materials, electrical systems, and more. 2. Safety Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of the construction site to ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices. Inspect scaffolding, temporary structures, personal protective equipment (PPE), and other safety measures to ensure they are in place and being used correctly. 3. Safety Training: Provide safety training programs for construction workers and staff members. Train workers on safe work practices, proper use of equipment, emergency procedures, and the importance of personal protective equipment. Ensure that all workers receive appropriate safety inductions. 4. Safety Policies and Procedures: Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures specific to the construction site. Communicate these policies to all personnel and ensure their adherence. Stay up to date with local safety regulations and codes and ensure compliance. 5. Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and other safety-related concerns. Identify the root causes and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. Maintain accurate records of incidents and provide reports to management. 6. Emergency Preparedness: Develop emergency response plans and procedures for the construction site. Conduct drills and ensure that all workers are aware of evacuation routes, assembly points, and emergency contact information. Coordinate with local authorities and emergency services, if required. 7. Safety Documentation: Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, incident reports, and safety-related documentation. Ensure that all required permits, licenses, and safety certificates are obtained and displayed as necessary. 8. Communication and Collaboration: Foster a safety culture by promoting open communication and collaboration among workers, supervisors, and management. Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and regular safety briefings to discuss safety concerns, share best practices, and address any issues raised by workers. 9. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest safety standards, regulations, and industry best practices. Seek opportunities for continuous improvement by identifying potential safety hazards and implementing preventive measures. 10. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and national safety regulations, as well as any specific construction-related safety standards and guidelines.
