Software Development Engineer at Commerce Fabric, Inc. in Seattle, WA will work on building Fabric's next-generation commerce platform. This role will be expected to provide eCommerce and relevant technological expertise to conceive, build, and uphold online, customer-centric eCommerce solutions. This position is 100% remote but must be located in one of the following locations: Seattle, WA, San Francisco Bay Area, CA, New York, NY, Austin, TX or Boston, MA. Salary: $182,312 - $220,000 per year. Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a directly related field, plus 6 years of professional software development experience in the domain of commerce technology and building systems at an enterprise scale. Experience must include 4 years of experience with each of the following: (1) backend development using Java, JavaScript, or NodeJS; (2) backend development using JSON, REST, Micro services, and NoSQL; (3) developing large-scale, consumer-facing micro-services solutions; (4) defining and implementing software development methodologies; (5) communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Must also have two years of experience with each of the following: (6) domain in Pricing or Product or Orders; (7) AWS systems; and (8) Dynamo, RDS, E(C/K)*, containers, or other AWS primitives.
