Our client is in search of an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join their team. As a key member reporting to the Associate Director, Engineering, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing designs, specifications, and cost estimates for a range of civil and structural projects across facilities in the US, Canada, and Mexico, with a focus on facility and heavy industrial equipment foundations.
• Overseeing project management and on-site construction to ensure compliance with project requirements and design specifications.
• Utilizing extensive knowledge of current industrial facility construction practices and a strong technical understanding of structural analysis and design in materials such as steel, concrete, and wood.
• Demonstrating proficiency in technical written communication, delivering effective oral presentations, engaging with clients, fostering teamwork, and providing leadership.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Thorough understanding of heavy industrial facility construction practices.
- Comprehensive technical expertise in structural analysis/design in steel, concrete, and wood.
- Experience in project and construction management, along with proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Comfort working in confined spaces and challenging environments like dirty, hot, and humid settings (e.g., Paper Mills).
- Ability to work at heights and climb ladders when necessary.
