Health Care Service Corporation seeks Senior Developer at its facility located at 1001 East Lookout Drive, Richardson, TX 75082. Responsible for developing, integrating, testing, and maintaining existing and new Robotic Process Automation (RPA) applications using the UiPath software, knowing one or more programming languages and knowing one or more development methodologies / delivery models. Provide high level and detailed estimates on software work packages. Support the production environment by monitoring performance metrics and alerts. Provide support in identifying critical software issues and help in fixing software bugs. Work with business users to identify project needs and get clarifications on use cases/Jira stories. Work with the Scrum team to deliver quality code which meets all the acceptance criteria. Perform application design and coordinate with other internal and external entities to provide technical solution. Help create technical documentation. Perform code reviews for all development work. Plan software release plan. Mentor/coach junior developers. REQS: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Applications, Computer Software, or related field plus 4 Years of experience as an Information Technology Specialist or related occupation. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: 1. Application configuration; 2. SDLC Methodology (Agile / Scrum / Iterative Development); 3. System performance management; 4. Systems change / configuration management; 5. RPA (Desktop Applications, Web Applications, Citrix Environments, Salesforce, Excel, Mainframe and/or Legacy Systems); 6. Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD). Telecommuting permitted 2 days a week.
