-Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees
-Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youths
-Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans
-Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers
-Provides staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers
-Offers mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees
-Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities


Education: Highschool diploma or equivalent

Experience: Minimum 2 years

Duties & Responsibilities:
Duties may include but are not limited to the following items:
-Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
-Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
-Instruct apprentices.
-Supervise other workers.
-Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
-Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
-Prepares estimates of costs and materials
-Maintain, repair and renovate residences, and other establishments.

Language: English
Wage: $32 per hour

Work conditions and physical capabilities:
Large workload, bending, crouching, kneeling, physically demanding, combination of sitting, standing, walking, handling heavy loads.
