Behavioral Interventionist CRT Children Services is dedicated to serving and supporting children ages 3-21 with a wide array of developmental disabilities and their families. We have an opening for a Behavioral Interventionist based out of our Moscow, ID office. The Interventionist will provide support to the children to meet their individual goals. Services may be provided in the childs home, their school, or the community. This position is hourly and offers an excellent benefit package, including sick leave, vacation time, retirement, and health coverage. Some of the responsibilities of this position include implementing therapy goals in daily sessions with the children to monitor and evaluate their progress. Our focus is on building adaptive skills, helping the clients with communication needs, self-regulation, problem solving, daily living skills, and socially appropriate behaviors that may be limiting their success. Job Qualifications: Applicants must hold a bachelors degree in a human services field (e.g. health care, social services, education, behavioral science, psychology, or counseling) from a nationally accredited college or university OR a bachelors degree in a different field with at least 24 credits in Social Services Must be able to provide documentation of one (1) years supervised experience working with children with developmental disabilities. Experience must be gained through paid employment or university practicum experience or internship. Applicants must pass a state background check and drug test. Applicants must have a valid drivers license and their vehicle must be insured. An excellent candidate will also have: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize paperwork and schedules. Ability to encourage the clients growth and development by motivating in a positive manner and maintaining a positive attitude toward individual clients.
